Response to COVID-19

We understand the concern and uncertainty many people are feeling regarding coronavirus disease (COVID-19). As your locally-owned, not-for-profit utility, we want to assure you that Lodi Utilities is here to serve you.

Our top priority is, as always, protecting the health and safety of our employees, our customers and our community. We are closely monitoring this rapidly evolving situation, and our utility is prepared and equipped to continue delivering you safe, reliable service and to responding to outages.

Here are just some of the steps we are taking:

  • The utility office is closed to walk-in traffic until further notice. We encourage you to communicate with us via email or telephone: 608-592-3246.
  •  If you experience an outage, please contact us at 608-592-3246 during normal business hours of 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. After hours, please use our emergency number 608-258-0027.
  • We have many payments options available. You can pay your bill online, through your bank's bill payment online service, at our office outside drop box, by mail,or by signing up for automatic withdrawal by filling out this application or calling our office with your banking information. You may also make a payment over the phone by calling Payment System Network at 866-917-7368 (you will need your account number).

During the initial months of the pandemic, disconnections were suspended; however, in October that process will resume. This was previously planned for July; however, the PSC chose to postpone to September and then again to October to give customers more time to get caught up. If you have fallen behind on your account, please call as soon as possible to work out a payment arrangement. Energy assistance is also available to those that have not already applied this past year. Recently a change was put in place to only review one month's income levels for qualifying for assistance. Please check out the Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP) site for more information.
