Save to Give Challenge

Challenge yourself to save energy, save money, and make a difference for local nonprofits.

Lodi has been selected as the first city in Wisconsin to participate in the Save to Give Challenge, sponsored by FOCUS ON ENERGY®, Wisconsin’s energy efficiency and renewable energy resource program.

Save Energy to Support Local Nonprofits

Changing just a few behaviors can lower your energy bills and help our community raise up to $25,000 to support local nonprofits. Participating in the energy challenge is a win for your wallet, a win for our nonprofits, and a win for the community!

How You Can Save to Give

Beginning January 25, 2021, you can sign up for the Save to Give Challenge with MyAccount. Then, during two 8-week donation campaigns — one this winter and another this summer — you can take the following actions:

  • Choose the nonprofit you want to support
  • Explore easy and free or low-cost ways to save energy in your home
  • Record the energy-saving actions you’ve taken each week to earn points

When enough Lodi residents sign up and earn points for saving energy, local nonprofits share the prize money from Focus on Energy.

The City of Lodi is proud to offer a bonus donation of up to $2,100 to encourage households to sign up. Once 100 households enroll in the challenge, the City will donate $900 to be split among the three charities. If 250 households sign up, The City will donate the full $2,100 once; $700 for each of the three charities.

Who Can Participate?

Lodi Utilities residential electric customers are eligible to participate.
