Lodi Utilities no longer accepts temporary checks. Temporary checks include counter checks and starter checks. Unlike regular checks, which are considered permanent and are custom-printed, counter checks and starter checks do not include pre-printed personalized information identifying the issuer of the check. In some instances, they do not contain the issuer's account number, which requires special handling at the bank.
Regular checks, money orders, and cash are still acceptable forms of payment.
